EPOXY PRIMER

A two-component epoxy primer with a high content of zinc phosphate and high solids content for long-lasting protection of metal surfaces.

Description

• Excellent adhesion to ferrous and non-ferrous metals (e.g., aluminum, hot-dip galvanized surfaces).
• Heat resistance of the film up to 200°C.
• Usable at low temperatures (down to –5°C);
• Resistant to solvents, acids, bases, and their vapors;
• Fast-drying product;
• Compatibility with various organic-based top coatings;
• Ability to apply in thick layers without sagging – up to 220 μm.
• Forms a water- and vapor-impermeable coating.
• High elasticity and resistance to linear expansion.

Purpose

This coating is suitable for protecting industrial facilities, metal structures, and others, operating under atmospheric corrosion and harsh industrial conditions. It is characterized by exceptional strength and abrasion resistance. It can be applied as a standalone coating in operating environment C3 (ISO 12944-2) or as a primer in an anticorrosion system in severe environments C4/C5 (ISO 12944-2). It is suitable for use at very low temperatures (down to –5°C).
