ACRYLIC POLYURETHANE TOPCOAT

A two-component finishing coating for metals, distinguished by its exceptionally high resistance to UV rays and abrasion.

Description

• Excellent adhesion to ferrous and non-ferrous metals (aluminum and hot-dip galvanized surfaces), plastics, and wood;
• Scratch resistance;
• Resistance to chemically aggressive influences, gases, acidic vapors, aliphatic and aromatic hydrocarbons, mineral oils, cooling fluids, vegetable and animal fats, acids, alkalis, salts, and alcohols;
• Color stability;
• High hardness and heat resistance of the film up to 150°C;
• Long-lasting UV protection.

Purpose

It is used in anticorrosion protection systems for pre-primed metal structures, machinery and equipment, transport vehicles, and others operating in industrial, coastal, and offshore environments (up to C5M according to ISO 12944-2). It protects metals from chemical exposure, salt spray, atmospheric corrosion, and aggressive vapors. Resistant to abrasion and linear expansion caused by large temperature fluctuations. Suitable for application at very low temperatures (down to –30°C). Offers higher UV resistance, wear resistance, hardness, and chemical resistance compared to A-PU Defense | ACR-251.
